Emersons Pilsner: Dunedin, New Zealand

Emerson's Brewery logo

The first Beer of the Day Au I chose is a beer that hails from Dunedin, New Zealand.  Emersons Pilsner is brewed by a microbrewery called Emerson's Brewery Limited which was established in October of 1992.  The story of Richard Emerson goes back to 1983 where he traveled to Scotland with his parents and became infatuated with European style beers.  He spent a year in Einburgh studying and then returned to  Australia to start his business of craft brewing.
